The Polymer VS products are unfilled, pure, vinyl-functional polydimethyl siloxanes of different viscosities and molecular weights with a very low volatile content. They can be used for a great variety of applications by selecting the appropriate crosslinkers, catalysts, additives and fillers.

Curing of Polymers VS is effected by a platinum catalyzed addition reaction with silicone crosslinkers containing silicon-hydride groups. Due to the low volatile content and the addition type curing mechanism, the curing shrinkage is very low and no volatiles are produced during curing.
